The Saab J29 , often referred to simply as the " Tunnan ", is a Swedish fighter aircraft developed and produced in the late 1940s. It is one of the first jet-powered fighters of the Swedish Air Force, known for its slightly conical shape and distinctive design reminiscent of a barrel (which means " Tunnan " in Swedish).

The J29 Tunnan was an important aircraft for the Swedish Air Force and was valued for its maneuverability and speed .
