Der Alpha Jet Prototyp 02 war ein frühes Erprobungsflugzeug des deutsch-französischen Alpha-Jet-Programms der 1970er Jahre. Er gehörte zu einer kleinen Serie von Testmaschinen, die für Flugversuche genutzt wurden.

Er diente vor allem dazu, Flugeigenschaften, Stabilität und die Triebwerkskonfiguration zu testen und half dabei, das spätere Serienflugzeug zu optimieren. Der Prototyp war kein eigenes Modell, sondern Teil der Entwicklung, die schließlich zum Alpha Jet als Trainer- und leichtes Kampfflugzeug führte.
