The Yak 11 , also known as the Yakovlev Yak-11 , is a Soviet trainer and air force aircraft developed in the 1940s . It is a two-seat aircraft based on the Yak-3 fighter aircraft . The Yak 11 was widely used to train pilots in the basics of flying and to improve their skills.

The JAK 11 was known for its stability and easy handling , which made it an ideal trainer aircraft . It played an important role in pilot training during and after World War II .
