The Yak 25 , also known as the Yakovlev Yak-25 , is a Soviet military aircraft developed in the 1950s . It is a twin-engine , jet-powered aircraft designed primarily for reconnaissance and fighter missions . With its high speed and maneuverability, it was intended to be able to intercept enemy aircraft and gather intelligence on enemy positions.

The Yak-25 had a distinctive sleek shape and was equipped with the most advanced technology of its time, including radar and optical reconnaissance systems . It was produced in several variants that could support different missions. Despite its improved capabilities, the Yak-25 was later replaced by more advanced aircraft developed in the 1960s .
