Description

In order to be on a par with the F-15 and F-16 , Sukhoi and MiG began considering appropriate models in the early 1970s. MiG won with its design of the MiG 29. However, after the first flight, various problems arose that caused a delay in development. It did not enter service until 1983.

What is remarkable about the MiG 29 is its great maneuverability , its slow flight characteristics and the air intakes that are closed on the ground and supplied with air through openings on the top.

The MiG 29 continues to be built in many variants and is in service with many air forces around the world .
